Pinches Cuerpos:

A One-Man Music Collective who's lifetime of compulsive sonic exploration manifested as multiple personalities. Some branch off as creative & harmonious collaborators, while others are purely destructive. Pinches Cuerpos is an attempt to harness this schizophrenic duality into a musical dynamic that is complimentary & contrasting, forward moving & reflective, body & mind.

I have been making music as early as I can remember, even before learning about musical instruments, let alone knowing how to play one. Being attracted to anything that made noise, I always felt a mysterious allure drawing me to music, sound, and instruments. I decided early on never to settle on a particular instrument or sound, rather to explore and indulge in all that music had to offer. After half a decade of playing with friends, learning several instruments, and idolizing music, I began recording songs on casettes. I didn't have much technology at my disposal, so I settled for using boom boxes, walkmen, and hand-held tape recorders. After moving to the United States from Mexico in 2000, Pinches Cuerpos went digital and began recording exclusively

Pinches Cuerpos attempts to achieve a state of perpetual creative motion. Seeking answers to questions of the mind that can only be answered by the heart, and an ethereal connection to the sounds & rhythms that connect us all,

The purpose of this website is to share my music. You can download all of our recordings for free. This comes from a belief in doing something for the love of doing it. In return, if you like what you hear, share it!

Pinches Cuerpos is currently working on 3 recording projects. These albums will be featured on the web site from beginning to completion in the form of demos and rough edits leading to a final product. The idea is to share the creative process by updating the albums as often as possible. As of now the three works are:

Original Soundtrack for the Broken Mind Film: Anywhere, TX: Soundscapes and ambient scores for an independent movie currently in production.

Tiempos Anchos: A collection of mostly “organic-sounding” songs in Spanish. A minimalist departure from our dense soundscapes of the past.

The Future is a Thing of the Past: An experimental Electro-based album.
